Didn’t
run your engine this year?
For
those who have not used your boats this year, you should consider
re-winterizing. A small investment now can prevent costly repairs
later.
Fogging oil, stabilizer and anti-freeze have a life cycle. Pistons
& rings can rust and seize up, seals become hard, fuel systems
varnish up, engine blocks and components rust and animals can
build homes in the oddest places when an engine sits unused for
a while. These all can lead to costly repairs. By re-winterizing,
you get lubrication through the engine, fresh fuel through the
fuel system and fresh anti-freeze in the engine if required. We
check the oil and gear lube to verify that no water has entered
in the engine or lower unit. We then re-coat the engine with a
corrosion guard and re-grease your steering, outdrive and prop.
All engines are run on stabilized fresh fuel.
